Established in 2015 at Tynemouth Market, Pure Knead began to develop the PureKnead product range.  Loved by so many, they soon expanded into a very successful shop in Whitley Bay, closely followed by their popular second shop in Dean Street in Newcastle and now we are delighted to welcome them to Gosforth.

This is a bakery like no other, with an ethos of pure ingredients and knowledge which combine to make quality products in the PureKnead style and flavour.

They have an extensive range of delicious pastries, cakes, slices and savoury goods, all made with pure ingredients and passion.

What is it that sets them apart;

Fresh-baked bread; they sell a range of sourdoughs that is made using traditional techniques, taking 48 hours to make, using only flour, water & salt...no additives, no improvers...

Aromatic coffee: the coffee served is from one of the UK's best Roasters - Assembly Roasters, and is made on their Victoria Arduino Machine.

Bespoke; They also provide a bespoke cake service which caters for birthdays, weddings and family celebrations. Give them a call or pop in for an informal chat.

Pure ingredients; using only the finest pure ingredients to create little creative masterpieces with delicious flavour.

We are truely spoilt having PureKnead in Gosforth, we marvel at their creative cakes and pastries every day.

There is now seating available in store and sandwiches and breakfast porridge pots available too, so now we have breakfast, elevenses, lunch and afternoon tea catered for. Perfect.
